I love art games like these!

a very grinch out of 10

Easy and Hard at the same time!

I've seen this on the Haxe server and I like this and what its like so far. The cutscenes are a bit long but the gameplay ~~and the character editor~~ make it worth it. Pretty easy but I feel like the inputs could be better and that pressing on time is a bit tough.
Also I couldn't figure out how to get to other levels on the map, clicking doesn't seem to work.

Cutscenes I think kinda have to be longer at the start because of the exposition. I'm never sure how long cutscenes should be. Sometimes I think they're too long, and then I play a JRPG and my perceptions get completely recalibrated. I don't know, I'm not a writer.

What do you mean by "could be better"? You can set the timing difficulty, which makes it easier or harder to get on time.

As for the map, you can only teleport to locations you've been to already (indicated with a dot), and you can only travel by foot on trails connected to your current location. Where are you in the game?

Banger stuff, even if I had to put my browser at 67% zoom since the game runs at 1080p.

My thoughts on the songs for Week 1 (the only week as of writing):
Bound's cutscene was nice, though the icons having dialogue was interesting to say the least. I had a lag spike mid song and got one miss, otherwise it was easy.
Score: 69490 | Combo: 106 | Misses: 1

Ascend's cutscene was funny. Pretty easy as well but I somehow got 4 misses despite only actually missing once, probably the different control input.
Score: 58600 | Combo: 13 | Misses: 4

Why does bro in the third cutscene have ketchup runnin' from his eyes!??! Heck naw!
Descend, it exists? Too tough for me and I managed to actually die from low health in this song for once but I accidentally pressed Escape and exited the song. (Reason I mention low health is that you can press Esc to die in this game, like how pressing R does in the original game. I don't think this game has a pause button.)

Things I feel like could be changed:
- When you die, the camera still bumps to the song's beat, but it would be nice if it were to either not do that, or to just beat to the Game Over theme instead.
- When you press Enter/Return on the death animation, you don't get the anim where BF's brain glows and the camera fades out, it would be nice to have this in the remake.
- A freeplay menu would be nice when more songs are added.
- The game runs decent but I feel like it would be better if there was more optimization options for this, to make the game run better.
- The icon dialogues would honestly be better as an option in my opinion.

In a nutshell, I like this quite a bit! Nice remake, I can see the effort put into this, and I appreciate it! I wish the best for this!

Thank you for your feedback!

A bit hard but I found a secret strategy to killing Casandra. Good game, especially after I mastered it on the first go. Quick tip: click and hold on her, it drains her health a lot faster than normal.

As someone who betatested this, I gotta say this is still good.
I still suck at it and Darnell may be the most powerful being on the court but I still liked it, I managed to dunk three times on my most recent playthrough (as of writing).
Good game, so happy to see it out.

Also it seems that my audio doesn't seem to play, odd.

Good challenge! (Even if I did use a walkthrough to help me.)

This game is amazing despite the fact that I'm a terrible mouse artist and can't make it past the first floor.

A classic.

I draw, that's just about it.
